REDUCTION OF GREENHOUSE GASES BY INSTALLATION OF A RENEWABLE ENERGY PRODUCTION SYSTEM
One of the SPIACT Craiova projects includes as an objective the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions (carbon footprint), by installing a renewable energy production system.
This approach was achieved by purchasing and installing, on 3 of the most important buildings in the company’s premises, a photovoltaic system with an installed power of 240 kW. In this way, a good part of the internal energy consumption was covered, thus reducing the generated carbon footprint, but green energy will also be generated in the national energy system.
We are still involved in the national “Green Deal” project, running other projects in this regard.
