Field of use:

The joint coil is used in signaling, centralization and block (SCB) installations on electrified lines, to ensure the return circuit of the electric traction current and the separation of the signaling current from the adjacent track circuits, related to the isolated sections of the electrodynamically or electronically centralized stations. and from the current line equipped with automatic line block.

Technical-constructive parameters:

• Long-term rated current (on one rail): 250 A;
• Impedance of the primary winding of the joint coil for alternating current of 50 Hz, at a voltage of
0.35 V is at least 0.7 W – 10%. In this case, an impedance of about 1W is provided at a frequency of
75 Hz;
• Overall dimensions: S – 350 x 500 x 550 mm, D – 720 x 500 x 550 mm;
• Mass: S = 65 ± 5 Kg; D = 115 ± 5 kg.

The advantages of the fiberglass reinforced polyester housing coil (PAFS) over the cast iron housing coil are:
• Low weight;
• Simple maintenance;
• Sealed construction;
• Easily accessible and protected terminals;
• The non-metallic materials used discourage vandalism;
• Very flexible attachment-mounting mode outside the track;
• Does not require oil cooling;
• The reinforced concrete foundation is removed;
• Double joint coil reduces the number of intermediate connections.

Simple joint coils in cast iron housing

Field of use:

The joint coils are used in the railway automation installations, on the electrified lines, for completing the traction return, as well as for separating the return current of the electric traction, from the current in the track circuits of the SCB installations.

• Long-term rated current (on one rail): 250 A;
• Impedance of the primary winding of the joint coil for the alternating current of 50 Hz, at the voltage of
